Mallow oil, extracted from the flowers of Malva sylvestris, is an exceptional ingredient in natural and organic cosmetics. This oil is known for its emollient, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties, thanks to its content of mucilage, tannins, and flavonoids, making it a perfect ally for skincare. Mallow oil is obtained by macerating the plant's flowers in a base vegetable oil, in which the flowers remain for 40 days, before filtering. The quality of the base oil is fundamental for the mallow oil to be truly effective; in our case, the mallow flowers are macerated in first cold-pressed, organically produced sunflower seed oil.
