Steps in our facial routine for combination and sensitive skin
Combination skin is becoming increasingly common in today's society. Days where your skin is completely dehydrated and dry can give way to days where your skin is greasy, oily, and even more prone to acne.
The tricky part when you have combination skin is learning to manage its versatile and paradoxical nature. Because when you know your skin type, it's easy to find a remedy. But when your skin behaves unpredictably, taking on different guises and roles, then confusion and frustration take hold.
People sometimes need things to be black and white, but with combination skin, we tend to move in shades of gray. That's why today we want to help you clarify what combination skin really is and how to treat it in every possible situation.
What is Combination Skin?
Combination skin gets its name from the fact that it is a combination of two skin types: normal-dry and oily or blemished.
It usually has a shiny appearance and often develops small pimples in the famous T-zone (forehead, nose, chin).
Being somewhat versatile and paradoxical, it can sometimes be difficult to understand how to care for and cleanse your skin: that's why we've suggested different facial routines depending on the occasion and your skin type at any given time.
Facial Routine Tips for Combination Skin
The most important thing for combination skin is the cleansing process, morning and night, using non-comedogenic cosmetics.
In this case, we will opt for products made with sebum-regulating vegetable oils such as hazelnut, or regenerating ones such as argan, among others.
Why sebum regulators?
Because fat must be regulated, not eliminated. Otherwise, the famous rebound effect occurs: the skin becomes alipic , losing its natural protective layer and becoming deeply dehydrated.
Jojoba is also a very good option: it does not provide fatty acids and has a lipid composition very similar to our skin, which is why we recognize it as a food.

It's also important to include a facial toner, which hydrates and refreshes the skin without making it greasy and allows the active ingredients of the serum and/or cream we'll use later to be well absorbed.
To make it even easier for you, we suggest two beauty routines using Saper products for combination skin with acne and dehydrated combination skin.
