What is Sea Buckthorn?
Sea buckthorn is a flowering plant in the family Elaeagnaceae, native to cool temperate regions of Europe and Asia.
It is a very hardy, thorny, deciduous shrub that can grow between 2 and 4 m tall. It has slightly rounded fruits that grow in compact grapes and range in color from pale yellow to dark orange.
Sea buckthorn oil ( Hippophae rhamnoides extract ) is obtained from its fruits, widely used in cosmetics. It is one of the star ingredients we have selected for the formulation and development of our anti-aging cosmetic line, as it is one of the plants with the highest antioxidant content in the plant world, due to its high vitamin E content , which helps eliminate and soften spots and marks on the skin.
Sea buckthorn facial creams and serums soothe and protect the skin from external aggressions (sun rays), regenerate the skin, and contain antioxidant properties. They are especially designed for mature skin because they combat cellular aging.
